Vision Australia - Photo Gallery

When Brad Noble received a phone call to help Vision Australia he did not hesitate. The idea was to give vision impaired children and adults a ride on jet skis and in rubber ducks, to let them feel the wind and salt water.

The word went out for help and without any hesitation, we had 5 jet skis from Brad, Alan Bridge, Ted Doran, Gavin Reynolds and Brett McGovern, which were followed by 3 rubber ducks from Steven "Chook" Holmes, Colin Brown & Dennis Goldspink and Brian & Sue Clulow.

We headed out from the marina on Sunday 29/11/09, not exactly sure what was in store. We were met on the beach by some quiet and shy children, with about 30 vision impaired people lined up for a ride. Sue, Dennis, Colin and Chook took charge of putting the life jackets on and getting everyone ready for their ride.

Brian gave a few driving lessons in his tender and the jet skis did not stop for two hours. The day was a huge success.

Our good friend Ded Stretten wanted to help as well and D'Albora provided free fuel for the jet skis and rubber ducks.
